Glass
About Janet
Janet has come to fused glass through a journey of exploring stained glass and copper-foiling inspired by the profusion of leaded glass windows and doors in Muswell Hill.

My Work
As a keen gardener, Janet is drawn to translating her favourite flowers into glass art through the use of glass frits, powders and stringers to progressively build up 'painted' glass wall panels and garden sculptures. Having studied chemistry at university, she particularly enjoys the alchemy of combining glass containing different elements that react together in the kiln to create magic.
