My Work

Although I have had a lifelong love of photography - since my brother bought me my first camera when I was 8 - I have spent most of my life as a film cameraman, a collaborative occupation – but I always valued my spare time with just me and my stills camera a solitary pleasure! For many years I worked only in black and white. Lots of foreign travel meant lots of interesting places and subjects. With the advent of digital I was able to move into colour. I don’t think I have any particular style, I like to experiment, although people and places are some of my favourite subjects. My original website www.mikecoles.net is now a legacy site as Yahoo no longer support it but will remain available to view. My new photo site is www.mikecoles.photography which has newer work and some legacy work too. Most photo's are available to buy at all the usual sizes, framed or unframed.
